Warning to all Consumers In recent months, the locksmith industry has been flooded with out-of-state CON ARTISTS. These companies pretend to be local when in reality they are out-of-state. These companies use individuals and contractors who are unlicensed and who often have little or no experience. These contractors likely have not met Illinois state background check requirements. Keymasters is working with the Associated Locksmiths of America to inform the public of these dishonest con artists. They have been deceiving their clients into thinking they are the closest locksmith and are quoting very low, unrealistic prices for lockouts. In actual fact, they are quoting the trip charge only and not the charges for their services. They have been caught charging hundreds or in some cases thousands of dollars for lockout services.
